The Hosteria Los Pinos de Cuicocha sits just below the crater of Cuicocha Volcano and the Cuicocha Lagoon.

The Cuicocha Lagoon called from the native people "Lagoon of the Gods" for its Magnetism, its Positives Energies and the Spectacular Landscape ideal for your stress relieve; at an altitude of 3350 meters (11 000 feet) above sea level. The temperature varies between 10º C to 20º C (50º F to 70º F). From our property we can see (weather-permitting) ten volcanos: Cotacachi, Cuicocha, Imbabura, Cayambe, Fuya Fuya, Antisana, Rumiñahui, Cotopaxi, Chimborazo and Pichincha. We may also observe a wide variety of plants (orchids, bromelias, forest flowers, etc) as well as numerous animals (pumas, wolves, rabbits, birds, etc.).
